Cllr Carlisle confirmed that an extension of time for the Parish Council to respond to these applications had been secured and our response was now required by 11th September. This gave time for a village meeting to be held on what undoubtedly would be a contentious application, given the nature of the applications and further to concerns raised in the Village Plan. Discussions took place about the possibility of having the Fox & Hounds registered as a village asset. It was agreed that Dst Councillor Morris should be approached and ask if the applications can be taken to committee.

It was agreed that a public meeting should be arranged for 12th August to enable people to put forward their views. Flyers will be posted through doors and posters throughout the village advertising the meeting. Cllr Carlisle asked the Clerk to get full size copies of the various drawings printed out for use at the public meeting.

Cllr O’Brien felt it was important that the Parish Council should have a view on these applications prior to a public meeting. To this end and following further discussion it was resolved that based on the information provided the Parish Council would be objecting to each of these applications.
